12.18 we walked!
The girls and I walked to the elementary school today to have holiday lunch with Lincoln. His lunch hours started at 11:20. We left the house at 11. We were only a few minutes late to lunch, and had a great time chatting with Lincoln until he went back to class at noon.
On Wednesday the kids get out at 1 p.m., so I decided to hang out in the cafeteria for the older kids lunch half-hour and walk home with Lincoln and the walking School bus.
My girls don't fit very well together in the stroller, but Meta is determined to ride. It was above 40 degrees, but the wind was so cold. Pretty sure we're getting a storm tonight.
9.17 walking home
While I really like the walking School Bus for many reasons, I don't like walking down the busy street from the meeting place. Still, Sierra loves being outside. Meta loves chatting at me as we walk together. And Lincoln likes being with the other kids for part of the walk.
