Goodbye Cordova - March 21, 2015

Last day of work, packing, moving, ferry ride and new Anchorage Apartment.

Bye Grandma and Grandpa! Thanks for your help, come visit us in Anchorage.

Watching Cordova disappear from the back of the ferry.

Uncle Bob and Aunt Terry are also on today's ferry. Meta is trying to eat Uncle Bob's hat.

Lincoln is pointing out Lincoln Island.

Lincoln and Meta are in a luggage cubby.

Meta chilling on the floor to get some wiggles out. She's 4 months old today.

Meta in our new apartment's living room.  Our stuff beat us here. Lots to do!

James and Lincoln in front of our new apartment building. Ours is looker's top left apartment.

Big changes - February 28, 2015

New job - Moving!  James interviewed with a company in Anchorage called Ravn. They fly passengers and cargo all around Alaska. Mostly in smaller commuter planes.  They offered a job, he accepted.  Today, we got up early to send James off on the ferry. He will start his new Aviation Mechanic job at Ravn and find us an apartment. We'll join him before March is over. Sad to be leaving Cordova, excited for new adventures. James is on the ferry to Whittier.  He's got his tools and his tool chest and hopefully everything he needs to get through the next week.  His first day on the job is Tuesday.  Good Luck James!

Lincoln and James' overnight adventure - April 29-30, 2014

James and Lincoln went to Anchorage to bring back my 'new' car - a 2004 Subaru Forester.  It was during the week, so I had to stay behind and work.  Lucky for me, the guys stopped by to say "Bye!"

When they got to Anchorage, they poked around the float plane / small airport.

And they stayed in Eagle River at Tom and Leah Rawlins house.

In the morning, they loaded up and headed for Whittier and Lincoln's first ferry ride.

In Whittier, there were rocks to throw into the harbor.

And then a ferry ride!  Pretty day for an adventure!

And of course, returned home with my new wheels - The Green Lantern.  Thanks guys!
