We have skied more in 2 months than we did in 2 years in Alaska.

Timberline - January 12, 2018

Timberline Ski Resort with the extended Simpsons. Opa. Jed, Maria, Stella and Zoe. Kurt, Carlee, Tyler, Christy, Jake and Rachel. Kim, McKayla, Bree and Ellie Davis. James, Jessi and Lincoln McCalvy.

Oma and Meta stayed and played at the hotel.

James said, "Timberline...It was wet most of the day, but the last couple hours were nice."

Family Ski at Mt.Bachelor - January 7, 2018

James: "Family afternoon ski outing. Meta's not ready to ski on her own, but Lincoln is all fired up to ski all day! He's starting to get the hang of it which is exciting to see."

New Year's Eve - December 31, 2017

Jessi won! (Trains across Europe or something like that.)  So fun to be close enough to visit Simpson family again.

Pilot Butte family selfie - December 29, 2017

It is unseasonably warm for December 29th. So we went for a hike to the top of Pilot Butte. 1 mile up, 1 mile down. While we were at the top, Aunt Kimi called and invited us to Idaho for New Year's. Yay! So we speedily hiked back down and packed the car.

Tumalo Falls - December 17, 2017

Exploring our new Oregon home - this is Tumalo Falls near Bend. It is a quarter mile from where we had our picture taken to a view point at the top of the waterfall. And then the trail continues along the creek for several miles.  We explored until just before we got cold and it got dark. So pretty.
