By the time an item is in our budget, James knows what he wants and has probably tried it on a couple times. Right now he's in the planning stages for some new ski pants... (This is his blue jacket and the orange jacket was just to get an idea how the pants would look with his orange jacket. The red & white ski pants were more a try-on for style and fit, not color.)

And James been looking for my Christmas present for months. He wants to get me a new ski jacket. He's done a LOT of online shopping and now we've been going to the different ski shops in town to try to find the jackets he's interested in, so I can try them on.
This particular ski shop had a variety of women's jackets. Sizes XXS, XS, S, M and an occasional L. Some of the large size jackets fit, but not well with layering. There was not a single XL jacket in the store. The sales people are very helpful, "If you find a jacket you like, but need a different size, we can order it in for you."
It would be MORE helpful if they had a jacket in the right size so I knew if I liked the fit of the jacket. I think outerwear manufacturers don't make ski gear for above average ladies. WHO wears an XXS anyway!?! I tried on a couple of men's jackets because the sales-lady really wanted to help me find a jacket that fit. But men's jackets don't REALLY fit.
