James is starting to get a bit antsy. Wants to go skiing. Doesn't have money for a lift ticket. Doesn't have a backcountry buddy close by. So he drove up Farmington Canyon - which is plowed year-round for access to the radar towers above Farmington - and looked for some safe skiiable terrain.
It is getting a little late in the season - only about a month of resort skiing left - and some of the south-facing foothills don't have enough snow to ski upon. But he found some hikable terrain.
Which looked good for making a few turns.
