Today we hiked Ensign Peak. It is a perfect early season hike. The trailhead is close to the State Capitol, the hike is short with great views of the entire valley. Throw in some church history, wild flowers, a snake and some baby quail and you've got a great hike.
Sunscreen makes an awesome hair do!
At Ensign Peak, there used to be a huge flagpole and flag (an Ensign to the Nations), but vandals kept taking it down. Now, this pillar marks the spot where Brigham Young (and others) came to view the entire valley and plan their new city.
So far, we really like this backpack. Lincoln likes the adventures and his naps seem pretty comfortable too.
