For Labor Day, we went for a wander along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. It is one of our favorite drives. We went last year in October with one-month-old Lincoln.

Family Photo 2012 - What a difference 11 months makes! At least the Little Bandito has grown and changed so much! The parents and the falls haven't changed much at all.
Today, Lincoln was very happy to go exploring. First, he checked the water temperature. It is cold, but he didn't seem to mind!
Then we took off Linc's shorts so he could wade into the water.
Linc was determined to walk all around that little pool of water, so we stripped him down to his diaper and let him play.
After awhile, James' feet started to go numb. Lincoln wasn't through playing, so I took a turn being Lincoln's support. The water was COLD!
Finally, Linc's lips turned purple and he let us pull him out of the water and change him into dry clothes. Thank goodness for a cozy blanket in the warm sunshine!
Piggy back ride up the mountain to the car - there's more to see, more to do!
