7/18: A little bit of sight seeing on the way home.
James got a calling. The Stake President was in Cordova and interviewed all of the active Elders and felt impressed to call James to be Elder's Quorum President. They had to request his records from our Utah ward to even extend the calling, so we were very surprised! He'll be working closely with the new High Priest's Leader (the former Branch President).... Grandpa McCalvy!

James' new FAA card came in the mail - he's a certified A-and-P Mechanic. Airframe and Powerplant. So proud of you James! Now a few years of experience and he can go after his inspector rating.

8/05: Work can be fun! James got to go along on a test flight of a deHavilland Otter with Honeywell turbine conversion. First flight of the season before they start hauling fishermen. Off-airport landing too. Little bit of Heaven for him.
8/16: Not sure what they're up to, but it must be silly and fun.
8/22: Fishing for salmon with Kathleen and Mom - he caught his limit in half an hour. (photo of Kathleen)
