Funeral Celebration - March 5-11, 2014

March 5, 2014 It took two days to get to Salt Lake for Granddad Price's funeral.  Lincoln didn't mind playing hide and go seek in an almost empty airplane on the way down the coast.

March 6, 2014 We stayed overnight in a hotel in Seattle and that had it's own set of adventures.

March 7, 2014 - Lincoln spent the day with Oma and cousins.  We stayed at Uncle Clay and Aunt Kristen's house near Big Cottonwood Canyon.

March 7, 2014 - We had an 'extra' day in Salt Lake, so we went skiing at Alta.

The viewing was in the evening and it was wonderful to catch up with so much extended family.

March 8, 2014 - Lincoln, Gage Price (Alan and Michelle) and Krue Price (Craig and Ariana) all got some wiggles out after the luncheon on the church lawn.

At the graveside with Uncle Kurt and Rachel.  The kids thought it was great fun to play at the graveyard while the adults visited.

March 9, 2014 - we played as much as possible with our cousins. Tyler, Rachel, Jake, Lincoln and Christy in their pajamas

March 10, 2014 - back in the airport again.  It will take two days to get home again.

March 11, 2014 - chilling in the Anchorage hotel room just after midnight.

It was wonderful to celebrate Granddad's life with a weekend family reunion. It is sad to not have Granddad in this world anymore, but I know he is busy and happy and active in his next adventure and I hope to see him again.
