Flight to Cascade, ID - May 17, 2008

One of the things we did with our 'economic stimulus' check was to go flying! This was our first opportunity for James to take me on a flight. He had to fly the weekend before to get enough take-offs and landings to be proficient and legal to take passengers. Our flight plan was to fly up to McCall for a 'touch-and-go' and then down to Cascade for a quick visit and back to Boise. We also circled around Bogus near Boise on the way north and West Mountain near Cascade on our way south to check out the spring snow coverage. Uncle Neil met us to shuttle us back and forth to Oma's house. We had a wonderful lunch with Oma, Uncle Neil, Aunt Marlyn and Uncle Norm. Then we flew back to Boise. Very very fun! Thank you Uncle Neil for the pictures!

Into the wild blue yonder! It was a beautiful day!
The view from the plane - can you see Oma's house?
