James and his plane - September 8, 2007. He began flight training in 2001 and only logged about 10 hours. This year he renewed his goal of getting his private pilot license.
So, he took an introductory flight with Jetstream Aviation on August 31, 2007. I got to go along and take pictures - what fun!

First SOLO flight! He flew in 3781L - a 1965 Cessna 172G. Now that he's able to fly without an instructor, he has to work toward the FAA check flight and FAA written and oral exams!
