The website said 11:00 a.m. So we went - ON TIME - and arrived to find the local singles ward greeting people at the door. Not our ward.So we went into the Relief Society / Elders Quorum of the ward which began at 09:00 a.m. Not our ward.
So we went home.
Then we went back to church at 1:00 p.m. - ON TIME!!! Twice in one day! - and finally found our ward.
Super friendly ward. Someone introduced themselves before we even found a place to sit. The ward bulletin included a questionaire for new members to fill out in order to request records. Someone else introduced themselves as we stood up to find a new seat for Sunday School. Before that conversation was finished, Bishop Putnam came over to introduce himself and then introduced me to Sister Clifford, the Relief Society President, who had come up while we were talking to the bishop. Before church was out, I had a copy of the Relief Society photograph directory (I haven't had one of those since I was a member of a singles ward!) and had my picture taken for the upcoming revised Relief Society photograph directory. Whew!
