Lincoln and Rachel fly a helicopter - August 2, 2012

Opa: Tower to Toddler Air, you are clear for take off.
Lincoln: Toddler Air to Tower, copy, we are clear for take off.
Rachel: Seat belts, check. Engine one, check. Ready for take off.
Opa: Tower to Toddler Air, WATCH OUT! Do you know how to fly that thing?
Lincoln: How hard can it be?
Rachel: What? I thought you knew how to fly!
Lincoln: It's not so hard, you just push a couple buttons.
Rachel: Wait, there are pedals down here and what about this stick!?!
Lincoln: I can't reach the stick, you're grabbing my arm!
Rachel: Where are we going?
Lincoln: What? You're the navigator!
Rachel: Aaaah! Traffic at 9 o'clock!
Lincoln: 9 o'clock? The lady with the camera? That's my mom.

Rachel: I want my mommy.
Lincoln: I don't see her.
Lincoln: I still can't reach the stick. We're going to have to land.
Rachel: Are you sure about this?
Lincoln: Don't worry, I'll get this ship on the ground.
Rachel: Ship? Isn't this a helicopter?
Lincoln: Sure, push this button. Look at this dial.
Rachel: I think it's working...
Lincoln: Touch down on runway one. Mission complete.
Rachel: I guess that  wasn't so scary.
Lincoln: You can let go of my arm now.

Rachel: Next time, I get to be the pilot. Which buttons do I push?
Lincoln: Don't ask me, I was pretending to be Daddy.

May you have clear skies and smooth landings!
